Following the latest government health guidelines regarding the Coronavirus we have followed the recommended advice with the majority of our staff now working from home.
Our on-line store remains open and we can be contacted by email or telephone during our standard opening hours. We would politely request that all customers default to contact by email wherever possible.
Free Delivery Information
*Free delivery applies to the majority of orders, however to some areas, orders below the value of £800 may be subject to a delivery charge of up to £42.00 .
Where this is applicable a customer will be emailed prior to the order being processed.
A customer will then have the option to continue with the order on payment of the delivery charge or to cancel the order. For cancelled orders a same day refund within our working hours would be issued against the customers payment card
Delivery Time Frames and Procedures
As a guideline only, the majority of items are delivered within two to ten working days following your email order confirmation. A specific delivery date will be provided prior to delivery.
Please note that if an item is out of stock, we will advise via email and the order may be cancelled if you wish following written confirmation.
We do not accept any liability for costs involved with delayed deliveries. We will advise on any extended delivery dates by email or telephone.
Deliveries will be made by carrier or a dedicated delivery lorry. We cannot give specific times for delivery.
Please note that most deliveries are on a pallet, which will be left with you at the time of delivery.
Delivery charges are based on a kerbside one-man delivery only. All goods should be checked thoroughly for damage and delivery notes signed accordingly. If it is not possible to check the goods while the delivery driver is present then any despatch notes should be signed "goods unchecked, as driver could not wait"
Any damaged or faulty goods should be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Re-delivery costs may apply if a pre-arranged delivery date is missed by the customer. This would be advised of by email and will need to be agreed by the customer prior to a second delivery being made.
We strongly advise that you do not book plumbers/tradesmen until your goods have arrived and have been checked, we are not liable for any tradesmen costs, consequential loss or compensation in any way.
Please note that if an item is being collected or delivered by our DPD carrier service and the collection or delivery is missed or fails there will be a £9.60 failed charge taken from your refund.
If your delivery fails due to no one being at the property on the day we have advised, if delivery is refused or if you cancel the order after it has been shipped there will be a failed delivery charge de-ducted from your refund. This charge could be up to £100.00.
If we attempt your delivery on the specified delivery day and no one is at home a re-delivery charge will be advised. This charge could be up to £100.00. We will only re-deliver once you have confirmed you are happy with the charge.
Certain postcode areas will be subject to an additional delivery charge.
Any additional charges for out of area postcodes are shown prior to any payment details being taken and you will still have the option to abandon the checkout at this stage if you wish.
